The annual ground rent will then be cancelled. As of February 2018, the rent is € 2.968,69 per month with an additional fixed contribution of € 95,70 so the total amount is € 3.064,39. Layout second floor:
Common stairs lead to the second floor. Entrance, spacious hall with separate toilet and cupboard with washing machine, spacious bedroom with a walk-in closet in the front and access to the bathroom, equipped with a shower, bath tub and a wash basin. Second bedroom at the side.

Layout third floor:
Generously sized living room (85m2) with an open-plan kitchen and a staircase to the roof terrace (app. 15m2) with a splendid view in the direction of the Rijksmuseum.

The apartment is located in stadsdeel Centrum, within walking distance of the Spiegelkwartier, near the Spiegelgracht, Leidseplein, Amstelveld and a stone’s throw from the Rijksmuseum. Shops, restaurants and museums are all in the vicinity. The apartment is easy to reach by public transport (tram 7,10,24) and by car via the S109. In the future, the apartment can also be reached through the underground station Vijzelgracht of the Noord/Zuid lijn, creating a direct connection the the Centraal Station and Station Zuid.

Apart from the green square, the tree-lined service road will be maintained, with a double line of plane trees and perennial borders. The service road is separated from the carriage way by low hedgrows (mix of field maple and hawthorn), preventing cars and bikes from getting on and off the main road randomly. The norhtern part, near the Eerste Weteringdwarsstraat will be transformed into a wonderful square with Judas trees and perennial borders.

MVA neighbourhood information: De Weteringschans

This area is known as the quiet part of Amsterdam Centrum. Amsterdam East is an environmentally friendly area with canals and important cultural buildings. These characteristics make this part of Amsterdam ideal as a residential area. Unlike downtown this area consists of many young couples who are starting with their careers. East and the eastern islands and the old harbor-area is still relatively vacant, but that will change in the upcoming years with the Weesper- and Plantagebuurt still in development.
