The Kloveniersburgwal is an ancient city wall of medieval Amsterdam. During the urban expansion of the 17th century the canal houses were built on top of the old wall. On this broad canal one finds the Trippenhuis the Oudemanshuis poort and many other monumental buildings. Located around the corner are the Nieuwmarkt with its famous Waag, the Waterlooplein, Dam Square and the Amstel river. With unobstructed views of the recently renovated Zuiderkerk and the Raamgracht this is indeed a very unique location.
