Description

Metropolitan living in an area of international stature.

900MAHLER is robust and classic in its look and materialization. A representative residential tower with a beautiful and elegant entrance. Entrance styling has been done by Kate Hume. The entrance has a reception and offers “James FULL Service”. For more information, see: plusjames.nl. There is a lift going exclusively to the 18th floor.

No. 987 is located on the 18th floor and faces southwest. A sunny location with beautiful sightlines and vistas.

The property comprises over 236 sqm and has a clear and balanced floorplan. The apartment is now in semi-shell condition and can be finished according to one’s own taste. A well thought-out design and offer for finishing are available. This design by Grand Johnson provides for a particularly spacious living room, a large kitchen diner, bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, a utility room and a TV room. The apartment has two large terraces facing south and southwest.

The building is located on the dynamic Zuidas. An attractive residential environment, partly thanks to Station Zuid. From this station, there is a train to Schiphol every 6 minutes and there is a direct metro link to the city centre. Station Zuid will be enlarged and modernized in the near future, along with the construction of a tunnelled section of the orbital motorway A10 South. This location is also very well accessible by car (exits Rai and Olympic Stadium).

The representativeness and international allure of 900MAHLER is immediately felt when entering the central lobby of the building. With unique luxury and a refined finish. The hall has an atrium of over 6 metres high which provides an impressive grandeur. With a library-like look and a lobby for the caretaker, residents and visitors feel right away at home. Two lifts with Sky View go to the 18th floor. The garage is also accessible by two lifts. The lift goes exclusively for residents and guests to the 18th floor with a key system. On this floor there are two apartments. A nice common hall gives access to the property.

Grand Johnson has made a beautiful design especially for this apartment. The design includes not only a well thought-out and balanced floorplan, but also a detailed description of all wall finishings, colour schemes and panelling. In addition to a lighting plan, he has devised a complete furnishing, which gives the apartment a modern, and also warm contemporary look. The apartment has already been laid out and most facilities have already been installed. The finishing activities have been fully specified in an offer, estimated at approximately € 200,000.

Central eyecatcher in the apartment is the kitchen diner. This customized kitchen with a large cooking island in the middle has been designed by Grand Johnson. It has many drawers and a white marble worktop with built-in appliances. The worktop continues into a dining area. The design of the cooking island provides for integrated gas burners. The kitchen has also two fridges, steamers, ovens and microwaves. There is a “wet” section and one for the “barista”.

The 18th floor on a height of more than 60 metres guarantees phenomenal unobstructed views. To the south and east even the Dom Tower in Utrecht and the Gerbrandy Tower in Lopik can be seen in clear weather.

Further to southwest and west respectively Rotterdam and The Hague. The southwest location and height also provide a beautiful view of the Nieuwe Meer, the Amsterdam Forest and Schiphol Airport.

The rear offers views of the city centre.

neighborhood information

Buitenveldert is the most southern part of Amsterdam South. The neighbourhood has a lot of contrasts. Buitenveldert characteristics itself by the amount of space and green facilities available in the area. There are many facilities and shopping centre for example the Gerderlandplaza. The houses are relatively big and the neighbourhood has many above-average aged people. The neighbourhood scores well on the safety scale. Although the safety is good, the social cohesion isn’t that strong. The Zuidas part of Amsterdam is a dynamic area, which is in full development. Originally the focus was on making this part of Amsterdam a high level office complex, but now the focus is more on making it a residential area. There aren’t that many inhabitants yet, but the new building concepts are designed to improve that. There will be an elementary school and several other facilities available, which will make this part of Amsterdam a unique location.
