The Scheldebuurt is a neighbourhood within the Rieverenbuurt. The neighbourhood lies between the offices from the Zuidas and the shores of the Amstel. The neighbourhood is attractive because of its quiet and the pleasant public spaces. A famous complex within this neighbourhood is the Congres Center the Rai, which lies at the edge of this area. The Scheldestraat is the most well known street is this neighbourhood and also the thoroughfare which leads people from the centre to the Europaplaza.
