We proudly present this villa, designed by architect Han van Moort, directly on the waterfront of Vinkeveense Plassen!
The architect designed this villa for his own family in 1998. In 2004, he was commissioned by the current owners to create a spacious extension to the first floor. This villa has a large garage, separate guesthouse, a boathouse and jetties.
Layout: Ground floor: The extremely spacious entrance leads to the hall, featuring a custom-made wardrobe wall with plenty of storage space. The restroom is fitted with a wall-mounted toilet and a washbasin. The hallway also accesses the laundry room.
Upon entering the living room, you will immediately be struck by the sense of space of this room. Facing the lake, you will find the large sitting area - with a fireplace - and an open-plan study with a generous desk, numerous wardrobes and bespoke cabinets that ensure ample storage space. The dining room is situated to the front of the house and connects to the luxurious chef's kitchen, fitted with a range of appliances, including a gas cooker (SMEG), oven, range hood, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Quooker. Again, this area has also been designed to offer optimum storage, with a gorgeous bespoke bookcase between the kitchen and the dining room. There are multiple sliding doors from the living leading to the breathtaking terraces on the waterfront. The kitchen and the dining room also have French doors that lead to the beautifully landscaped and secluded front yard. A reinforced glass floor from the living room leads to the climatized wine cellar. There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor level.
First floor: This floor accommodates five large bedrooms and two bathrooms with underfloor heating. There are two bedrooms to the front of the home, both with wardrobe walls and characteristic round windows that lend the rooms extraordinary charm. The third bedroom is to the side of the house and is also fitted with a custom-made wardrobe. The fourth (bed)room has a balcony with a wonderful view of the lake, and is currently in use as a guest bedroom. The extra double bed, hidden in the fitted wardrobe, would make it easy to convert this room into a fourth full bedroom. The master suite is situated to the lake-side of the house, and is tremendously spacious and bright, and features a walk-in closet, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite luxurious bathroom with a bath, separate shower, double vanity and toilet. French doors and double sliding doors from the bedroom lead to the wrap-around deck. There is a second bathroom to the front, which is fitted with a bath, vanity, toilet and separate shower.
Guesthouse: The guesthouse is a separate annex and is fitted with hardstone floors (with underfloor heating), fireplace, pantry with a refrigerator, and a shower room with a vanity and separate toilet with a washbasin. The guesthouse offers a spectacular view of the lake. To the front is an extremely large garage with an electric garage door. The garage is connected to water, electricity and is fitted with a separate dog shower. The entire annex has an individual central heating system. In addition to the garage, this property also has a boathouse with an electric windlass.
The villa is easily accessible, and the extended A2 highway means that the property is only a short commute from Amsterdam (15 minutes) and Utrecht (20 minutes) and its location relative to Schiphol via the A2-A9-A4 and the N201 is nothing short of excellent.
