In 1998 the current owner commissioned architects Webbers for the construction of a classic villa on the river Amstel. The villa was completed in 1999 and after 19 wonderful years the client decided to sell the villa. The villa is built entirely traditionally with an eye for detail, such as the joint work and the dark green slate covered hood. The location of the villa is certainly excellent with a wonderful view over the river Amstel and on the other side the polder Rondehoep. Despite this free location, the distances to Amstelveen and Amsterdam are very short. In about 10 minutes you can reach the Amsterdam Zuidas, but the children can also safely go to the schools in Amstelveen via the nearby Kruitmolen. In the very spacious and beautifully landscaped garden is an outbuilding with outdoor kitchen, which can be used as a studio or hobby room.
Basement: the basement has a separate entrance and has the following layout. From the central hall there is access to all rooms. In this central hall there are, among other things, a toilet room, meter cupboard and technical room. In the past the entire basement was used as office/work space but is now divided into two very spacious bedrooms with closets, a study with bar and tv-corner. On this floor there is also a more than generous utility room with fridge / freezer, wine fridge, dishwasher and connection for the washing machine and dryer. All permanent paneling in the basement is done in cherry wood.
Residential floor: the residential floor is accessible via an internal staircase from the basement, but also via the main entrance. The living room has a beautiful herringbone parquet floor, gas fireplace, patio doors to the terrace and offers a magnificent view on the river Amstel at the front and the garden at the rear. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with four gas burners, a separate wok burner with teppanyaki plate, deep fryer, quooker, dishwasher, a Viking fridge freezer, two ovens and a steam oven. From the kitchen there is also an access to the terrace. The kitchen can be closed off from the living room through sliding doors. The terrace on the west side is approximately 43 mē and has an outside staircase to the garden.
First floor: spacious landing with access to all rooms. The master unit consists of a bedroom, walk-in dressing room and connecting the bathroom with large walk-in shower, two sinks, toilet room and several closets. Second bedroom at the rear with closet wall. The third bedroom used to be two separate rooms, is very generous and can easily be divided into two separate rooms. The second bathroom has a jacuzzi, sink, toilet and walk-in shower. In the central hall on this floor there is a large skylight in the roof, creating a lovely light hall.
