MVA neighbourhood information: Oude Dorp en Bovenkerk-Dorp

The Oude Dorp is a special part of Amstelveen. The neighbourhood is characterized by its narrow streets. The residential area is a mix of old and new and there is a remarkable growth in the amount of hospitality which has been developed in this area. The border to South-Oostrand is a railway, which is still used during the summer months by an old museum tram which goes from Amsterdam to the Poel. Parallel to the old railways is a bike path, the Kazernepad. On the other side of the railway lies a natural shore.
